Dear Friends of Charleston High School's Performing Arts Club,

Since 1960, Charleston High School has presented a Spring Musical in collaboration with our Performing Arts Club (PAC) program. This long-standing theatrical tradition celebrates our young CHS musicians, actors, technicians, and artists, providing them an opportunity to display their talents for the community-at-large.

The Charleston community has always been extremely generous with their financial support of our productions. Putting on a show can be expensive with the purchasing of the rights for performance, creating and designing sets, renting costumes, etc. Community financial support is as important for our program as ever as our program continues to grow and flourish in our beautiful new space. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to continue to provide quality performances for our local audiences. We are able to do this through our hard work and dedication to our craft as well as through the support of individuals like you who value the arts and educational opportunities like this for our student artists.

After moving to this area nineteen years ago to serve as the choral music director at Charleston High School, I have been repeatedly struck by the wealth of talent here in Charleston, as well as the wonderful community support shown for your local artists and musicians. Thank you for helping musical theatre continue to thrive at Charleston High School and for supporting our young performers and artists.
